Trade deficit reached more than US$880 million for past three months

Trade deficit had been US$ 880 million for previous three months of this fiscal year. In comparison with the same period of the previous year, the trade deficit decreased by more than US$340 million, according to the statistics released by the Ministry of Commerce. 

From October 1 to December 28 of 2018-2019 FY, export volume reached US$ 3,617.08 million whereas import volume reached US$4,500.185 million. 

Export volume was US$ 883.105 million in three months of 2018-2019 FY. Therefore, trade balance had been more than US$ 880 million in deficit. 

Export volume was US$ 3,218.209 million last fiscal year whereas import volume was US$4,449.290 million in the same year. Therefore, the trade balance was US$1,231.08 million, according to the statistics of the Ministry of Commerce. 

Trade balance had been more than US$ 880 million in deficit in three months of 2018-2019 FY, but it reached more than US$ 1,230 million last year. In comparison with the same period of last year, the trade balance has been US$ 347.977 million in deficit.
