Three people, including a child, were killed in a fire this morning when a power line was cut off and ignited vehicles parked in Mingalardon Township, Yangon Region, according to the Pale Auxiliary Fire Brigade.

The incident occurred on the morning of June 17. When firefighters arrived at the scene, the vehicles were already engulfed in flames.

"We received a report around 8 a.m. about the fire and dispatched a fire engine immediately. Upon arrival, we found three bodies between two vehicles," said an unidentified official from the Pale Auxiliary Fire Brigade.

Among the victims were a 3-year-old girl and two men. The girl and one of the men were father and daughter.

"The girl and her father were relatively easy to remove, but the other man was trapped in the car, requiring us to remove the vehicle to retrieve his body," added the official.

A total of 30 volunteers, including firefighters from the Pale Auxiliary Fire Brigade and ambulance personnel, responded to the incident. The firefighters extinguished the flames, and the bodies were transported to May Dar Wei hospital.
