State Counsellor and Minister for Foreign Affairs Aung San Suu Kyi met with Vincent Meriton, Vice President of Seychelles, who is paying an informal visit to Myanmar, at the President Office in Nay Pyi Taw on April 19, announced the State Counsellor’s Office.

The announcement didn’t mention what both leaders discussed.

Union Minister Min Thu for the Office of the Union Government, Union Minister Kyaw Tin for International Cooperation and high ranking officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are attended the meeting.

Moreover Vice President Henry Van Thio and wife Dr Shwe Hlwan hosted dinner for the Seychelles delegation at the Park Royal Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw on the evening of April 18, announced President Office.

Kyaw Tin, Union Minister for International Cooperation and wife, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, senior officers and officials attended the dinner, it said.
