Squats in railway areas being removed in Mandalay City

Authorities are reportedly clearing the squats located beside the railroads in Mandalay City.
The squats beside the railroad next to 79th Street between 10th and 11th Streets in Aungmaythazan Township were being demolished on the morning of May 25 after authorities had issued an eviction notice.
On May 23 also, the squats by the railway next to 49th Street between 119th and 120 Streets in Chanmyathazi Township were cleared.
Authorities in Mandalay have continuously clearing the squats beside and in railway areas including Mandalay-PyinOoLwin railroad as well as in power line areas.
