The Shan Nationalities League for Democracy(SNLD) issued an announcement on November 9 that the party and its candidates will strive to fulfill the wishes and solve hardships of the people that voted for them.

The statement also thanked, including the voters, all that helped the party in terms of finances, volunteers during the campaign period as well as artists that helped with campaign songs.

It also expressed sympathy toward those that lost the right to vote for reasons, and that they will be fighting to give back those rights back to those who lost them.

The SNLD entered 128 candidates in constituencies within Shan, Kachin, Kayah and Mandalay states and regions for the 2020 election.
