State Administration Council (SAC) issued an order on substitution of ministers for security and border affairs in Mandalay and some Region or State's governments on September 1.
SAC has replaced Region or State Ministers for Security and Border Affairs in accordance with Section 419 of the Constitution.
The Minister of Security and Border Affairs for Mandalay Region Government, Colonel Kyaw Kyaw Min, was replaced by Colonel Nay Lin Soe. Minister of Security and Border Affairs for Kachin State government Colonel Kyaw Thura instead of Colonel Aung Kyi Lin, Minister of Security and Border Affairs for Kayah State government Colonel Than Soe Aung instead of Colonel Myint Wai, Minister of Security and Border Affairs for Kayin State government Colonel Min Thu Kyaw instead of Colonel Myo Min Naung, Minister of Security and Border Affairs for Chin State government Colonel Thein Tun Aung instead of Colonel Han Win Aung .
SAC has appointed Colonel Min Min Latt in place of Col. Thein Lin as Taninthayi Region Minister for Security and Border Affairs on August 15, 2023. The order was signed by Lieutenant General Aung Lin Dwe, Secretary of the State Administration Council.
