Quadruple homicide shakes Momauk Township, Kachin State

Quadruple homicide, including two children, occurred in Nuamlang Village, Momauk Township, Kachin State.

On the evening of February 4, locals reported the police that they found the bodies of Daw Aye Thaung, Daw Khin Mar Cho, Ma Thet Su Wady Khin and Ma Myat Su Wady Khin inside the house of Daw Aye Thaung of Nuamlang Village, Momauk Township.

Han Win Aung, the husband of the deceased Daw Khin Mar Cho, who is believed to be the perpetrator of the murder, has been absconding since February 4.

Regarding the incident, a resident said, "The person who is believed to be the perpetrator is the husband of the decease. The dead children are not his biological children. The police can also check their bodies after one day. The person believed to be the perpetrator is from Pyinsalu, Ayeyawady Region. It is not known exactly who he was fighting with. I heard that he was caught in Shwebo."

Regarding the incident, Myothit police station filed the case under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
