Pyae Kaung Su Thant will be representing Myanmar at the Miss Tourism of the Globe 2018 will to be held in China.



She will leave for China on October 4 to compete in the event.



She was chosen as the representative by Stars & Model International agency. The venue of the Miss Tourism of the Globe 2018 is  Zhongwei, Ningxia Hui autonomous region of China, from Oct 7 to 14.



It is the first time for the event to be held in China. With this event, the Zhongwei government aims to promote the city internationally and expects the event to give local tourism industry and economy a strong boost. Forty contestants from 70 different countries and regions will take part in this year’s event. The objective of the event is to select an ambassador of tourism in each country and region as well as to boost tourism exchanges internationally.



“I really thanked teacher John Lwin and Daddy Sunny from Stars & Model International agency for believing in me and selecting me as a candidate. I’ll do my best in the competition,” said Pyae Kaung Su Thant.



National costume of Pyae Kaung Su Thant will be created by designer Phyo Pyae and evening dress by designer Shar Tra.
