Police recaptured one of three escapees, who escaped from Pathein Township police station on November 10, at Thingangyun Township on November 12, according to office of the head of Ayeyawady Region police force.

He was caught by people on Aung Thitsaw Road when the police run after him, said Police Lt. Col. Tun Shwe from Ayeyawady Region police force.

The other two escapees were recaptured within hours of their escape, sources said.

The escapee, Ye Zaw aka Nga Ye, was sent to the Pathein Township police station.

The authorities are interrogating five policemen, who were on duty during their escape, and the three escapees.
