Myanmar reports 105 new patients and 2 deaths on Jan 10

Myanmar found 105 new COVID-19 confirmed cases on January 10 bringing total number of patients to 532,167, according to an announcement from Ministry of Health (MOH).

A total of 8,832 samples are tested between 8 pm of January 9 and 8 pm of January 10 and found 105 patients. Two more people died from the virus bringing total number of death tolls to 19,293, according to a report from the MOH.

A total of 6,140,608 samples are tested till January 10 and 149 people are allowed to be discharged from the hospital bringing total number to 510,227, it said.

The samples were tested in labs under the MOH, using GeneXpert machines in hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw Council, all regions and states, at No.1 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Yangon, at No.2 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw, at private hospitals and labs and using COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Test in hospitals and public health departments in Nay Pyi Taw Council, all regions and states.
