Myanmar found 1,123 COVID-19 new confirmed cases on October 13 and 29 more people died, according to the Ministry of Health and Sports (MOHS) statement on October 13.
A total of 13,258 samples were tested on October 12 and 13, and found new cases of 1,123.
A total of 1,509 people are allowed to be discharged from the hospitals bringing the total number of people free from COVID-19 to 11,769.
Till now, Myanmar has 30,437 confirmed cases. Up to 693 patients have died from the virus, it said.
Moreover, a total of 1037 people who had close contact with the positive cases were placed under home quarantine.
