Additional departmental supplies were airlifted to Putao from Myitkyina by Tatmadaw aircraft on June 5, according to reports.
The shipment included school textbooks and educational materials provided by the government to support the education sector, as well as medicines and medical supplies intended to enhance healthcare services for local residents in Putao Township.
Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan, Commander of the Northern Command Major General Aung Zaw Htwe, and departmental officials inspected the loading of the supplies onto Tatmadaw aircraft at Myitkyina, where military personnel and government staff coordinated the transportation process.
The supplies were delivered to Putao in two airlift operations. Upon arrival, the materials were received by responsible officials and will be distributed to the relevant departments for use in their respective sectors.
The government will continue to work in coordination with relevant authorities to implement regional development activities and support the needs of local communities, according to reports.
