The funeral of renowned veteran singer Kaiser was held at Yayway Cemetery in Yangon Region this afternoon, with fellow artists and fans attending to pay their final respects.
Kaiser, who was 66 when he passed away, died on August 22.
Having spent decades in Myanmar’s music industry, the veteran singer performed numerous songs that won the love and support of his fans.
Kaiser rose to prominence in Myanmar’s music scene in the 1980s and became a celebrated veteran singer known for his original compositions and distinctive musical style.
In addition to releasing numerous solo albums, Kaiser also achieved success through duet songs with female singers including May Sweet and May Kha Lar.
According to records available up to 2019, Kaiser had released around 20 solo albums and more than 200 songs.
