According to the statement issued on April 29 by the Committee on Prevention, Control and Treatment for COVID-19, the extension covers all the directives, orders and announcements previously issued by respective government organizations and ministries till May 31. The extension is applied to all COVID-19 restrictions that expired on April 30, 2023.

As it is needed to control the spread of COVID-19, union level organizations, union ministries have further extended COVID-19 preventive measures until May 31 except the ones that will be eased, it is reported.
