Published 4 March 2024

In Mandalay city, authorities have initiated an educational campaign to promote adherence to traffic rules and regulations.

From March 2 to 13, vehicles violating traffic norms are being treated as part of an educational period, with no immediate punitive action.

Motorcycles without helmets are being addressed through educational activities, including the provision of free helmets. Similarly, cars lacking seat belts are allowed to continue during this educational phase.

A collaborative effort involving traffic police forces, general administration departments, and local police aims to enhance compliance with traffic regulations in Mandalay.
