MANDALAY------An explosion occurred near Gems Trading Center in Maha Aung Mye Township, Mandalay Region, yesterday morning killing police corporal and injuring sub-inspector, according to the sources.

Around 6am of November 4th, the police members found a suspect package near gems trading center at the corner of 39th Street and 89th Street in Daewun (east) ward in Maha Aung Myae Township, Mandalay Region. Later, another suspect package was found at the garbage between 87th Street and 37th Street. While checking the suspect package, the explosion occurred. Due to the bomb blast, police corporal died and sub-inspector got minor injury.

Likewise, a blast occurred at the gems trading center in Maha Aung Myae Township, Mandalay Region, in October.
