Myanmar Foreign Minister U Wunna Maung Lwin says both sides are still discussing and negotiating over the details of ASEAN Special Envoy’s trip to Myanmar.

The Myanmar Foreign Minister made these remarks in a virtual meeting on October 4th with other ASEAN foreign ministers, according to a press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

ASEAN’s 2021 Key Deliverables, ASEAN’s external relations, regional and international issues and updates on the Implementation of the Five-Point Consensus were also discussed. Myanmar FM also talked about working to contribute to the advancement of ASEAN-China Dialogue Relations, the 30th Anniversary of ASEAN-China Commemorative Summit.

He further discussed the implementation of the Five-Point Consensus of the ASEAN Leaders’ Meeting and mentioned that both sides are negotiating over the details of the ASEAN Special Envoy’s visit to Myanmar.
