The students from Puta-O district were transported to the University of Distance Education and B.Ed Education Collage in Myitkyina Township, Kachin State, by military aircraft on October 10, according to Puta-O Township Literature and Cultural troupes.

The KIA and PDF members had captured about 35 youths on Myitkyina-PutaO motor road in last September. Later, the youths are inconvenience to use the motor road. Due to the situations, the Ethnic Literature and Cultural troupes in Puta-O district informed the government for the flight.

So, the military aircraft transported nearly 70 students who faced difficult transportation problem to their designation places. Moreover, the military plans to transport more students to the universities, according to the   Puta-O Township Literature and Cultural troupes. 

“It was okay. We requested the authorities [military] to transport the remaining students. Now, there are about 50 remaining students. We thanked the relevant authorities for their helps,” said one of the members of  Puta-O Township Literature and Cultural troupes.
