Two security members and locals injured when time bomb explosion occurred twice in Hpa-an around afternoon on June 28.

A time bomb exploded near the fence of Division-22 at U Sanda Street in N0.1 ward and another explosion took place on a Hijet vehicle when the security forces came for investigation according to a local.

“The explosions took place on U Sanda Street beyond Sanmatu shop selling rice and curry in Hpa-an. After the first explosion, security forces came and they have been investigating the area. At that time, another explosion took place on a Hijet vehicle. I heard that two security members and some passers-by were injured. The vehicle and some buildings were destroyed,” continued the local.

The injured were sent to hospital for further treatment. No armed groups claimed they have responsibilities for the attack.
