President U Min Aung Hlaing departed Bangkok for Myanmar from Don Mueang Airport on the afternoon of August 7 after concluding his official visit to Thailand.
The President, who visited Thailand from August 6 to 7 at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, was seen off at the airport by Thai officials led by the Prime Minister, as well as Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand U Zaw Zaw Soe and his wife, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brigadier General Win Thu Lin, and other officials.
During the visit, President U Min Aung Hlaing held a private meeting with Prime Minister Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, followed by bilateral talks between Myanmar and Thailand. Officials from both sides also exchanged memorandums of understanding.
The President also attended and delivered a speech at the Myanmar-Thailand Economic Forum 2026.
