State Administration Council (SAC) issued an Order No.18/2023 dated February 9, 2023 that Magway Region Advocate-General U Win Myint is terminated from his duties under Section 419 of the Constitution.

The Order was signed by the Secretary of State Administration Council Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dwe. Similarly, SAC allowed chief ministers of Mandalay Region, Mon State, Rakhine State and Shan State to retire from their duties under Section 419 of the Constitution on February 1.

U Myo Aung was appointed as Mandalay Region chief minister, U Aung Kyi Thein as Mon State chief minister, U Htein Lin as Rakhine State chief minister and U Aung Zaw Aye as Shan State chief minister.
