Nay Win from Kanni village entered Myint Naing’s house to switch loudspeakers and attacked with a knife on October 3 at 7:00 pm. Myint Naing who is NLD party member,  got some injuries as he defended the attacker and at the same time members of Union Solidarity Development Party surrounded and blocked the house according to MP Thet Naing from Myaing Township Regional parliament.

“We knew when the USDP party members surrounded the house. The first batch of police sent to Myint Naing’s house is less than in numbers compared with those surrounding the house. So, another 15 police,en from Myaing police station and township administrator and me went there. When we arrived at the house, his family members were blocked by the mob of people. We managed the family members to get out of the house. After we rescued the family, the people surrounding the house attacked with homemade fire bombs. As the house is a reinforced concrete building, it didn’t catch fire. The house, car, motorcycle and properties were destroyed after we fetched Myit Naing and family to Myaing,” said Thet Naing.

Nay Win who used a knife to attack Myint Naing was injured as he and his family defended him and now Nay Win  was hospitalized at the Pakkoku Hospital according to his  family.
