As the AA attacked with remote bombs near Kinchaung Bridge at the entrance of Punnakyun in Rakhine State on June 2 morning, a local and some security force members died while another local was wounded, according to the statement made by the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services on June 3.
The military issued a statement that AA attacked with two remote bombs and as a result, a local, Zaw Min Oo (35 years old) driving a motorcycle died due to explosion and Win Naing Soe (47 Years) was injured. The latter was taken to the Sittwe military hospital.
AA has been doing destructive acts in Rakhine State by bombing at the transportation routes. As a result, 15 locals died and 53 were injured by their attack from November 30, 2017 till June 3.
