A village administrator from Thayatchaung Township, Taninthayi Region and another village administrator from Phyu Township, Bago Region were shot dead according to Myanmar Police Force.

U Kyaw Soe, a village administrator from Paintaw village, Thayatchaung Township was shot dead in front of his house by four PDF on two motorcycles at 3:20 pm on February 1.

Similarly, U Nyunt Win, a village administrator from Wattu village, Kanyutkwin Township, while he was harvesting beans in his farm was shot dead by three PDF at 1:30 pm on February 1. His motorcycle and a mobile phone were also taken.

Security members came to the places where incidents took place according to Myanmar Police Force.
