Chairman of State Administration Council (SAC) Senior-General Min Aung Hlaing said that relevant ministries need to systematically supervise INGOs and NGOs in line with the rules and regulations at the meeting 4/2023 of Union Government held on August 30.

He said that relevant ministries need to systematically supervise INGOs and NGOs in line with the rules and regulations. Some countries and organizations employ INGOs and NGOs to provide aid to the country. Moreover, he noted that relevant ministries have to systematically supervise the prevention of any movements from literature, music, motion picture and social networks harming the national characters and national solidarity. The government needs to focus on the development of the socioeconomic life of the people and the development of the nation.

Present on the occasion were Vice-Senior-General Soe Win and union level ministers, and union level high ranking officials and Chief Ministers from States and Regions attended via video conferencing.
