The need for cooperation between the two countries for the prevention and suppression of drugs was discussed in the meeting between Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, the chairman of SAC and H.E. Mr. Wang Yubo, the governor of Yunnan Province at the diplomatic hall of the State Administration Council (SAC) Chairman's Office in Nay Pyi Taw on February 20.

The meeting was attended by the Joint Secretary of the Council, Lt. Gen. Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn and officials, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Chen Hai and officials.

Therefore, in the meeting, they discussed about the state-level persons and high-ranking officials of the two countries visited each other on friendship trips, the conditions for further visits to improve cooperation and friendship between the two countries, the conditions of the need to work together to improve political trust and economic communication between the two countries, the conditions to be taken to improve the border area trade and goods flows in order to increase bilateral trade as the border between Myanmar and Yunnan state is the largest, and the situation of China's assistance in peace negotiations and peace processes for the border region and domestic stability.

In addition, they discussed the need for comprehensive and effective action for cross-border law and order and stability, the circumstances in which the two countries have cooperated to eliminate online gambling and online fraud in the border region, and the circumstances in which they will continue to cooperate, the conditions of the need for cooperation between the two countries for drug prevention and suppression and the conditions under which technical assistance will be provided by Yunnan province to improve Myanmar's agricultural and livestock industries.

In addition, they also discussed the conditions of trade are more convenient due to the direct payment to Myanmar Kyat and Chinese Yuan in the conduct of trade in the border region, the conditions in which the construction of railways, which are of major importance for bilateral trade, and the smoothing of highways, and the conditions that will continue to increase cooperation in the electricity generation sector, energy sector, agriculture sector, the horticulture sector and other sectors between the two countries.
