A survey on the political expectations of citizens for 2020 Election will be conducted in all regions and states including Nay Pyi Taw, at the end of February, said Sai Ye Kyaw Swa Myint, director of the People's Alliance for Credible Elections (PACE).

The survey aims to enable political parties to know political expectations of citizens, choose candidates the people want and change their policies, he added.

Now the PACE is preparing questionnaires for the survey. The number of questionnaires will be between 80 and 100 . The survey will cover more than 3,000 people. The survey report is expected to be released in May, he continued.

Established in 2014, the PACE has conducted four surveys—the election in 2015, the expectation for the new government in 2016, the democratic expectation of citizens in 2017 and the undertaking of mid-term government in 2018. It also released its findings after monitoring general elections and by-elections.
