The opening ceremony of the 18th Immersive Flower Festival of PyinOoLwin National Kandawgyi Botanical Garden was held on the morning of December 6.

The opening ceremony of the flower festival was opened by Union Ministers and officials, and the Chief Minister of Mandalay Region delivered the opening speech.

This year’s flower festival will be held for a month from December 6, 2025 to January 4, 2026, and the flower festival is prepared to showcase various flower displays that are different from previous years, said an official from the National Kandawgyi Botanical Garden. This year’s flower festival is called the Immersive Flower Festival, and more than 200,000 flowering plants and 40 species of flowers blooming in the summer, rainy and winter seasons are being planted and displayed.

During the festival, there will be daily performances by famous singers, local product shops, restaurants, and other special programs.

PyinOoLwin National Kandawgyi Botanical Garden celebrated its centennial in 2024, and the centennial celebration was held with great enthusiasm.
