Two people were gravely wounded after police started shooting at protestors in Naypyidaw, near Tha Pyay Gone on February 9, the 4th day of mass protests across Myanmar.

One of the two, reported to be a young woman in her early 20s, was initially reported as killed on site but later received confirmation from the hospital that she is put on life support and is unable to be operated on.

The other injury was a clean entry-and-exit wound to the chest but the victim remains in healthy conditions.

There were around seven people that were injured when police started using water canons and guns to disperse the crowd around 1pm.
