A Myanmar national who was working on a fishing boat based in Samut Sakhon, Thailand got entangled in the fishing nets and died.

The deceased was 42 years old Aung Moe from Myanmar. While catching fish in the Gulf of Thailand, he was accidentally entangled in nets and his whole body was immobilized. The fishermen tried to help him but he died, according to reports in Thai media.

The fishing boat was a 60 ton heavy fishing boat with 30 workers on board. The incident happened in front of the workers, but they could not help him.

The body was brought to the port of Trat Province, claiming that it was too far to bring it back to Samut Sakhon port.

On January 3, the Khlong Yai police took a record of the body at the Kan Paha Port in Khlong Yai Township, Trat Province. It is reported that the police operations continued to search for evidence.
