The high-level delegation led by Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, departed from Tianjin Railway Station by high-speed train for Beijing Southern Station this morning.

The delegation was seen off at Tianjin Railway Station by China’s Deputy Minister.

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing is currently in the People’s Republic of China on a working visit at the invitation of  Mr. Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China.

During his visit, Acting President Min Aung Hlaing has held talks with President Xi Jinping, attended a welcoming banquet hosted by the Chinese President, and met with Chinese and Myanmar business leaders and scholars. He also attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO Summit 2025 Plus) in Tianjin, where he held separate discussions with several heads of state, including the rotating ASEAN Chair, the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

Furthermore, on September 3, Acting President Min Aung Hlaing will attend the military parade in Beijing marking the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. He will also hold talks with Chinese government officials, visit significant landmarks, and observe developments in the fields of education, industry, and the economy.
