The 60-year-old man hit the Toto 4D Jackpot 1 draw by betting on his car registration numbers – 8750 and 3250 – on March 27.

“I love my cars and they have become one of my inspirations when it comes to buying numbers.

“My car numbers are nothing special but since I love them so much, I have been betting their registration numbers for five years without fail,” he told Sports Toto Malaysia.

He said his son was the first person who spotted his car numbers appearing among the set of special numbers drawn for Toto 4D.

“My son called me to check the live draw results together. Both of us were stunned when the two numbers went up to the second and third prize.

“We stared at each other and we were speechless upon realising that we had won,” said the winner.

Asked about his plan, he said he would buy a house for his family and keep the rest in the bank.

He bought a System 3 ticket that won him a handsome sum of RM14,568,844.30 from the total jackpot of RM14,896,234.10 and an additional prize of RM336.

The remaining jackpot amounting to RM327,389.80 was won by someone from Sabah with an i-System 90 ticket.
