Ministry of Home Affairs has invited an open tender for e-Passport project.

The ministry invites citizen-owned technology companies to change from Machine Readable Passport (MRP) to e-passport system under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) system.

As of October 10, the tender application form is available at the e-passport tender committee, Office No.38, the Ministry of Home Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw. Interested companies can submit their applications to Office No.38, between October 11 and November 9.

Citizen-owned technology companies are to submit company registration certificate, the registration certificate of foreign technology companies which will make joint venture with local companies and company profile, along with tender proposals.
