Information Team of State Administration Council (SAC) issued a statement that two people were killed and 8 were injured when a hand grenade exploded at workers’ barracks of a construction company in Launglon, Taninthayi Region on December 21.

PDF forces set fire at the office of Launglon War Veteran’s Association on the morning of that day and attacked the town using hand grenades from 1,100 meters southeast of the town with motors. The explosion hit a workers’ barrack of a construction company near Aung Chan Thar Pagoda in ward B. A man and a woman living in the barracks were killed and eight including 4 children were injured. They were sent to the Dawei Hospital for treatment, it is reported.
