A fire broke out in an uninhabited apartment on the second floor of Yankin Center in Yankin Township on the night of October 17.

The fire services department and charity organizations went to Yankin Center on Sayar San Road, Ward 2 in Yankin Township after receiving information about the fire at 6:30 p m on October 17.

"The fire started the apartment on second floor of the Yankin Center. There are no people there yet. The room is being prepared. Initially, it was known that the fire started at the room where the house paint," said an official from the Karuna Kan Lak Social Assistance and Relief Charity Association who arrived at the scene of the fire.

Two fire trucks from Yankin Township Fire Station and two fire engines from the Tamwe Township Fire Station arrived and put out the fire.

The fire was classified as Level 1 by the fire services department.
