Myanmar no longer hosting Miss Grand International 2024; new venue will be announced later

Miss Grand International 2024 will not be held in Myanmar, and the host country will be announced at a later date, according to a statement from Miss Grand International.

Miss Si Su Nyeem has been chosen to represent Myanmar in the Miss Grand International 2024 competition. Last year, Miss Ni Ni Lin Eain represented Myanmar at Miss Grand International 2023, held in Vietnam.

In 2023, Ni Ni Lin Eain, competing as Myanmar's representative, received several accolades, including the Country's Power of the Year 2023, Miss Popular Vote, and Miss Grand International Pageant Insider Winner-MGI 2023. She also won various Global Beauties Miss Photogenic 2023 awards, Best National Costume, and was among the Best in Swimsuit. Additionally, she placed in the Top 10 and competed with Miss Vietnam LE HOANG PHUONG for the Country's Power of the Year 2023 award, ultimately placing in the Top 20.

She won the Miss Popular Vote award again and secured a spot in the Top Ten in the Grand Final.

The Miss Grand International competition, founded by a Thai citizen, began in 2013. The winner of Miss Grand International 2023 is Miss Peru.
