The motorcycles were carrying sacks suspected to contain illicit substances and were coming from Pinlaung Township.
The riders failed to stop when signaled, prompting a pursuit by security forces. One suspect, identified as Khun Lain Mar, 40, a resident of Luphechan Village in Pinlaung Township, Shan State (South), was apprehended along with the three motorcycles.
Upon inspection of six sacks loaded on the motorcycles, authorities discovered approximately 2 million stimulant tablets, with an estimated street value of nearly Ks 3 billion. The drugs were confiscated, and further investigations are underway.
