Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, three former ministers for Planning and Finance and economic adviser Sean Turnell charged with Myanmar Secrets Act to give appeal in coming court hearing

 Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, Australian economic adviser Sean Turnell, and three other former ministers for planning and finance namely U Kyaw Win, U Soe Win and deputy planning and finance minister U Set Aung are charged with section 3 (1c) of the Myanmar Secrets  Act. They were examined on May 12 court appearing at Nay Pyi Taw Zabyu Thiri special court according to sources close to court.

The next court hearing will be on May 26. Lawyers from both sides have to make appeal whether arguments should be made or not at that hearing, according to sources. A plaintiff witness was examined at the May 12 court hearing according to sources.

On May 12 court appearing, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, U Kyaw Win, U Set Aung and economic adviser Sean Turnell were seen at the court except U Soe Win who was given bill on health grounds.
