MUSE- A total of 140 Myanmar detained with Immigration Law in China already have been transferred at Natdaw check-point along the Myanmar-China border in Muse, northern Shan State.

The Health Department in Muse Township also carried out Fever Surveillances and the Immigration Officer from Muse received the transferred Myanmar citizens.

Also, the social welfare association in Muse Township donated meal boxes and drinking water bottles to the returnees.

Myanmar citizens transferred from China came from across the nation and they must be kept in Muse Township for a day and then they will be sent to their native on June 10th.

The Chinese authorities from Yunnan Province held a meeting with Myanmar authorities from Muse District. During a meeting, the Chinese authorities said that they wouldn’t arrest the illegal arrival of Myanmar citizens during COVID-19 outbreak in April.

At present, Chinese authorities allow illegal Myanmar citizens to depart from China so also China handed over Myanmar citizens being detained at the prisons across China for four times.
