Authorities prohibit making stockpiles and price hikes of Covid-19 medicines and health aid

The Ministry of Commerce issued a warning not to stock up and raise the price of Covid-19 prevention and treatment medicines and health aid.

On March 30, 2020, these Covid-19 prevention and control medicines and health aid are designated as essential supplies.

In the published decree, these important products are sold at high prices in the market, distributing at high prices or to store for the purpose of market manipulation. If one raises the price on such purposes, he or she will be prosecuted under Section 5 of the Essential Supplies and Services Law.

As a result, the Ministry of Commerce issued a notice to businessmen not to raise the price and not to stock up covid-19 prevention and treatment medicines and health aid.
