Another 77 new COVID-19 cases were found in Sagaing Region with four more deaths according to monitoring COVID-19 suspect patients and transportation team of Sagaing.

Officials from Sagaing Region 200 Bed Hospital, District Department of Public Health tested COVID-19 suspects on July 21 with RTD tests and found 77 were positive. Another 4 patients admitted to the Hospital were died with the virus.

“On July 21, 77 people tested with COVID-19 with four more deaths but 20 people recovered from the virus and discharge from the hospital,” said Myint Thein, leader of monitoring COVID-19 suspect patients and transportation team of Sagaing.

Sagaing Region was under Stay at Home Rule since July 13 to contain the virus in the region. Only the food and commodity shops are allowed to open and unnecessary shops are instructed to close temporarily according to Sagaing Region Municipal Committee.
