YANGON----An administrator from Hsay Sat Ward in Dawpon Township, YangonRegion, was shot yesterday morning, according to the nearby residents.

An unknown gunman opened a fire on Wai Zin Thaung, an administrator from Hsay Sat Ward in Dawpon Township, in front of ward administration office.

“An administrator was shot in front of ward administration office which is beside the lake. He was alive but got injury,” said neighbouring resident.

Currently, the administrator is hospitalized after receiving bullet wounds.

Similarly, a retired school teacher was shot dead in Ward No.F in North Oakkalapa Township, Yangon Region, on December 20th. An unidentified motorcyclist shot her[a teacher] when she was riding on the trishaw in the morning of December 20th.

Moreover, a blast occurred in Ward No.156th, eastern Dagon Township at night of December 19th. The incident is close to the police station.

A hundred-household administrator was also shot dead in his house situated in Ward No.31 in north Dagon Township in the morning of December 13th.

Likewise, a primary school teacher was shot in front of her house in the Chindwin Street, Ward No.25th in South Dagon Township when she returned from a school around 2pm of December 9th.
