442 Myanmar citizens enter from Nandaw check point in Myanmar-China border

Muse- Altogether 442 Myanmar citizens working in Kyegaung and Ruili towns in China returned to Myanmar via Nandaw check point in Myanmar-China border on August 25.

252 males and 190 females from various parts of Myanmar went to these towns for work. As COVID-19 recurrence in these towns resulted in the closure of factories and industries forced them to leave these towns. Therefore, they decided to return Myanmar on their own will.

Authorities from China and Myanmar cooperated in sending back these migrant workers and from July 26 to August 25, a total of 6611 workers returned to Myanmar. There are many more Myanmar migrant workers desire to return to Myanmar. The returnees were welcomed back at Muse by respective authorities and arranged them to return their homes.
