409 Telecom Towers destroyed due to mine blast and arson attack from Feb. 1 to Nov.30:SAC

A total of 409 telecom towers were destroyed due to arson attack and bomb blast from February 1 to November 30th including 360 Mytel telecom towers according to a statement issued by the State Administration Council’s information team.

Public buildings such as hospitals, schools, houses, villages, markets, State owned and private banks, departments, and factories, telecom towers were destroyed by bombs or arson attacks. A total of 409 telecom towers were destroyed due to arson attack and bomb blast from February 1 to November 30th including 360 Mytel telecom towers according to Information Team.

A Mytel tower in Nay Pyi Taw, one MPT telecom tower, 7 Mytel towers and a Telenor tower  in Kachin State, one Mytel tower in Kayah State, one MPT tower, 9 Mytel towers and one Telenor in Kayin State, 5 Mytel towers in Chin State, 8 MPT towers, 153 Mytel towers and 8 Telenor towers, 2 Ooredoo towers  in Sagaing Region, and 7 Mytel towers in Taninthayi Region were destroyed according to the statement.

Similarly, 2 MPT towers and 14 Mytel towers in Bago Region, 3 MPT towers and 48 Mytel towers, one Telenor and 2 Ooredoo towers, 2 MPT towers, 54 Mytel towers, 2 Telenor towers and 8 Ooredoo towers in Mandalay Region, 14 Mytel towers, one Telenor tower in Mon State, one MPT tower, 19 Mytel towers in Yangon Region, 2 MPT towers, 9 Mytel towers in Shan State, one MPT tower, 19 Mytel towers and 2 Telenor towers in Ayeyawaddy Region were destroyed by mine blast and arson attack according to the statement.

Besides, 25 hospitals, clinic, 23 factories, 12 supermarkets, 151 state-owned properties, 79 private owned properties, 565 departmental offices were also destroyed from February 1 to third week of November.
