33 sports to be included in 2013 SEA Games
Myanmar has decided to nominate 33 sports in 27th SEA Games, including badminton, table tennis and hockey after criticism from Southeast Asia sports community for excluding them from the initial lineups.

Football final to kick off in capital
The Myanmar Football Federation will hold the semifinal and final men’s matches of the 2013 SEA Games football at the capital’s Wunna Theikdi Stadium, while the men’s group matches that will include the national team will be held at Yangon’s Thuwanna Youth Training Stadium.

Archery team shoots to the top
Myanmar won the most medals in the 27th Southeast Asia Archery Championship, which was held in held in Nay Pyi Taw for the first time. The national team took nine gold, four silver and three bronze medals in the January 10 to 13 competition that drew 100 archers from six nations.
