Zaw Zaw, President of Myanmar Football Federation (MFF), urged the national football players to make concerted efforts and we had done something worthwhile for the State because the country is very poor.

The President of the MFF visited the training ground where the players are in the practice session on September 30. The players were making preparations for taking part in international friendly matches and ASEAN Suzuki Cup.

“Now we have appointed a new technical director. He brought a lot of success to Belgium and produced talented players. We are providing the players with facilities as much as we can. If you don’t try, you won’t become good and reliable players. You need to grasp success for Myanma football arena. The good result is of great importance. Our country is very poor. It has nothing to show. We need to be painstaking as much as we can. It will be worthwhile for the country,” said U Zaw Zaw.

Myanmar national men’s football team is in training together with 27 players starting on September 28 as part of preparations for taking part in the international friendly matches and ASEAN Suzuki Cup. Antoine Hey is taking in charge of the team as a head coach. Myanmar national men’s football team will play two international friendly matches—Indonesia on October 10 and Bolivia on October 13.

For Indonesia friendly match, Myanmar national men’s football team will leave Yangon for Indonesia on October 8.  Head coach Antoine Hey will bring 20 players to play against the friendly match against Indonesia and the remaining seven players will go on training.
