A vehicle caught fire while refueling at a fuel station in North Dagon Township, and the flames spread to the station, according to sources.

The incident occurred at around 9:30 pm on March 21 at the Terminal fuel station, located at the intersection of 7th and 8th Roads in North Dagon Township. The vehicle involved was a Toyota Probox taxi.

An eyewitness said the fire has been extinguished, but the station’s roof was damaged in the blaze.

According to the Myanmar Fire Services Department (MFSD), the fire broke out at 9:39 pm on Pyidaungsu Road in Ward 38. Level 1 fire engines were dispatched after reports of the fire, which was brought under control within 10 minutes and fully extinguished 10 minutes later.
