Union Minister for Defense, General Maung Maung Aye, met with China’s Defense Attaché to Myanmar, Senior Colonel Qu Zhe, to discuss matters relating to cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, according to the reports.

The meeting took place on the afternoon of September 8 at the guest hall of the Union Minister’s office. During the discussion, both sides talked about military cooperation, training programs, the dispatch of trainees, and technical collaboration.

Officials from the Ministry of Defense also attended the meeting alongside the Union Minister.
