Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC), Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, led a high-level delegation visited the Tebian Electric Apparatus (TBEA) Company in Beijing this evening.

Upon arrival, the delegation was welcomed by the company chairman and staff, after which they viewed presentations showcasing TBEA’s power plants, global energy and mineral production projects, and ongoing work in electrical equipment manufacturing and installation. The Myanmar delegation discussed related matters and posed questions regarding the briefings.

Later, at the company’s meeting hall, both sides discussed TBEA’s operations, potential for hydropower and solar power generation projects in Myanmar, and opportunities to establish electrical equipment factories in Myanmar to serve domestic and export markets—creating jobs and contributing to national development. They also explored prospects for joint ventures in mineral extraction and cooperation in Myanmar’s energy sector advancement.

Following the discussions, the Acting President signed the TBEA guest book, and both sides exchanged gifts.

The delegation included SAC Joint Secretary and Joint Chief of Staff (Army, Navy, Air) General Ye Win Oo, council members, Union ministers, senior military officials from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, deputy ministers, and other officials.
