USDP Chairman holds series of meetings with party members, artists, political parties, and national forces in Yangon

According to party statements, Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) Chairman U Khin Yi, together with party officials and some artists, as well as representatives from political parties and national forces, has been holding a series of meetings in Yangon.

One such meeting, led by U Khin Yi along with USDP Secretary U Paik Htwe, Central Executive Committee member U Maung Myint, and Yangon Region USDP Chairman U Khin Maung Soe, was held on the afternoon of August 16 at the party headquarters (Yangon branch). The party announced that this gathering was intended as a meeting with friends from the artistic community.

During the discussions, U Khin Yi and attendees exchanged views on the current political situation, preparations for successfully holding elections, encouraging people to vote for their preferred organizations, as well as matters related to the role of the arts and entertainment sector.

Earlier, on July 31, U Khin Yi had also met with members of the artistic community including actors, comedians, and directors. They discussed ongoing state affairs, the history of the party, election preparations, voter participation, and various sectoral issues.

USDP Chairman U Khin Yi has been conducting a series of similar engagements. On August 1, he met with leaders and officials of other political parties to discuss election preparedness, the importance of voter participation, and the significance of elections for the public.

On the same day, he also held talks with national forces, where discussions focused on cooperation for the successful holding of elections, joint efforts on matters of national interest, and areas where collective support and collaboration could be provided.
